I invite you today to remember that we are sovereign beings. Let us choose our sovereignty.
The alternative is choosing to be a victim, whether it’s a victim of beliefs, a victim of external reality, a victim to upbringing, to society, to time, to all the excuses … . and that’s pretty depressing.
It’s painful sometimes to look at the world with its conflicts and disasters. I do get scared about the future that my kids might experience.
But we live in a world of duality. There is no joy with no pain, no light without darkness.
My acceptance of this duality is always my first step.
Trust is my second step. My trust in Grace, in the higher mystery beyond my knowing.
My choices come next.
Am I choosing to be a victim? Am I choosing to stay stuck in the worry and the fear?
Or am I choosing love? Am I choosing courage? Am I choosing to rise?
I have the choice.
You have the choice, too!
